Welcome To The Cookshop Shop |
| Cookshop is an independent record label set up in 2002 by recording artists Lost Idol and La Femme. Their original vision was to establish an unrestrictive output for experimental mutations of 'dance' music covering a wide spectrum from electronica to cinematic jazz to skewed drum n' bass to leftfield hip hop and beyond, paying little regard to fashions or formulas but simply releasing music they believe in. This ethic still holds true, as Cookshop work with a global collective of artists who all have something sonically fresh to offer resulting in a catalogue that is diverse and a sound that is constantly evolving.
