Master Mosquito: The Endless Winter EP
(BASTARD JAZZ RECORDINGS)

Master Mosquito was born and raised on Easter Island (Isla de Pascua)in the country of Chile at the peak of the oppressive and violent mid-seventies. The only son of Don Pasqual de Underaga and Olivia de Underaga, Master Mosquito was subjected to an impoverished but socially diverse childhood in the slums of Easter Island.

When he reached the age of 17 a life-threatening feud forced him to flee to the city of Santiago de Chile where he took on 3 copper mining jobs in order to pay for a course in Sound Engineering. The Mosquito claims that during this period he was visited by a gaseous alien entity calling itself Abraham Lincoln Malaria, and this encounter was to affect all of his later work.

By the age of 23 he had become an accomplished downtempo producer with a respectable yet largely unpublished repertoire. The Mosquito currently lives in a storage facility in East New York subsisting entirely on frijoles negros, frozen guava juice and his daily sessions on the ibook (his sole property). He holds no job, no passport, and the US Department of Records is not yet privy to his existence. He currently makes a living from spinning reggae and dancehall records at various venues in Brooklyn and Queens.

Two original tracks from the Master Mosquito group melancholy, guitar infused downtempo music. Remixes come from Hint and the Hydroponic Soundsystem.

Another NYC dancefloor mover incl a Hint (Ninja Tune) remix for afterhours mischief.'
