First long player for the London based instrumental duet formed by keyboardist Graham Mushnik and drummer Luke Warmcop 4 years ago, "Yuri Gagarin" offers twelve modern pieces dedicated to the legendary Russian astronaut. Over the course of tango, rebetiko or bossa signatures, a throng of harmonious cinematic themes combine with a deep groove and a pinch of psychedelia; all this livened up by whiffs of 60's proto-electronic music.
