Frohlocker´s third maxi, as usual released on Galopp Records. The track consists of dominant, dubby brass and a rock´n´roll like briskly beat. The maxi further features three very diverse and independent remixes, altogether covering a wide range of musical styles.
Protassov (Switchstance Recordings), who entered the scene with his LP Shalina Music and the associated wonderful Steam & Oil EP, adds a distorted organ to Hipbrass and thus makes it a rare groove tune. On the other side, Paul SG´s Broken Mix provides some more BPM and heads for Liquid Drum´n´Bass. Pepe Le Moko, who became a well known duo through their "Resense" mashers, got an MC on board for their Whine Up Wild Remix: Dreadeye. As a team they make Hipbrass a dancehall tune, pure ear candy.
