KINDER ATOM (the guys behind the nice+smooth label) are pleased to present the release of the
EAGLE SPROUTS 12', the Toronto-based electronic group's first single in over a year, and a precursor to
their upcoming 4th CD +DVD and 2LP release SOFT HAND FEEL (NICE 0026).
EAGLE SPROUTS is a super melodic electro pop single that has been retro-futurized from the original
album version. Propelling Linn drum grooves punctuate the non-stop analogue sequences and pastoral
synthesizer riffs. Also includes bonus cowbells, extra rim shots and plenty of hand claps, guaranteed to fill
any big-haired niteklub dancefloor.
The B-side opens with overly sunny track SANGRIA, a deep house tune with solid Rhodes riffs, percolating
synth hits and jazzy piano and organ solos. Both tunes are backed up by two highly stimulating video
clips which will be making the rounds on music video websites and non-commercial television. The videos
will also be available on the upcoming DVD, and for download at www.kinderatom.com and Itunes.
The b-side rounds out with the straight-up house-dub of JAPAN CAKES and its deep-reggae bassline.'
