The BLACKLOVERADIATORS are a Los Angeles based crew of Mc's, Dj's, musicians and freedom fighters founded in the late eighties/early nineties. The active performing squad consists of Mc's Droop-Capone (a.k.a Dr. Oop), PM (a.k.a Two-B), Dj Midas and beatbox extraordinaire K-Million. Dr. Oop and Two-B are natives of the Mid City region of central Los Angeles, Midas is originally from Rochester NY, and the K-Million hails from Detroit. This diverse orientation has allowed BLACKLOVE's music to appeal to music lovers coast to coast and beyond. Droop is commonly presumed to be a solo artist because he received notoriety first through a side project with 'The People Under the Stairs,' the ground-breaking 'Deep Impact' (PUTS 1998) which made him an LA hip-hop icon. Droop met Rochester NY legend Dj Midas through mutual friend and fellow BLACKLOVERADIATOR internet-radio pioneer Small J in 1995. Small J (who was producing at the time for Droop and the BL crew) sent music back and forth to Midas (his childhood mentor) and persuaded Midas to move out to LA and join up with the BL crew and provide that 'Golden Touch'. PM was introduced to the family through a personal mentor of Droop's, LA graffiti legend Kram Neves (also a BLACKLOVERADIATOR) and the 3 began doing shows to promote Kram's underground classic 'The Bizzaro Theory' with Droop's buddy from school J-Love on the wheels of steel. Pretty soon the responsibilities of family weighed heavy on the crew, and Kram and J-Love were forced to take a break from the action leaving PM and Oop to hold it down for the rest of the camp. In 1999 came the K-million who was introduced to Droop by a mutual friend that K-million knew from college. He happened to move to LA at the exact time that Droop was looking for a beatbox to enhance his own gift for freestyling and take the live show to the next level. The two met and the rest is history. Each member has solo ventures in the works that should be making waves soon, and the rest of the crew (Aloe Black of Emanon, Wooly Mammoth, Homesick, Dj Assault, The Broke Poets, and J-Love) continues to radiate love through out the universe. The BLACKLOVERADIATORS are now at the top of there game. Dr. Oop and the crew has managed to grace the stages with the likes of Mos Def, Gangstarr, Hieroglyphics, Redman, Freddie Foxx, MF Doom, Coolio, Saul Williams, Super Nat, KRS-One, Sheila E. and virtually every LA based hip-hop group (including Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Freestyle Fellowship, The Alkaholiks, Blackaliscious, the Beat Junkies and the Loot Pack). The crew has become legendary for there live on-air appearances especially on LA's 'Friday Night Flavas' on Power 106 (featuring Beat Junkies J-Rocc and Mr. Choc, as well as Everlasts? Dj Truly Odd and Korns? Dj C-Minus). In addition, they have collaborated with members of Freestyle Fellowship, Dilated Peoples, LA Symphony, plus Murs and PSC of the Living Legends, and the Shapeshifters. Projects under construction include a brand new album for the summer and collaborations with Dj Rhettmatic of the Beat Junkies, Akil of J5, Dj Truly Odd, European producer deluxe Mr. Scruff, J-Rawls of the Lone Catalysts, Wildchild and Mad Lib of the Loot Pack and Aceyalone & Abstract-Rude and. And if that wasn't enough, this year marks the crews inception into the legendary Zulu Nation.'
