The most popular group in the Caribbean was probably the Blue Rhythm Combo (BRC). They were not only the most popular but definitely the funkiest band for sure. Not many bands had such a high-quality output of heavy funk 45RPM singles as the BRC. They released a couple of 45s on the local Merry Disc label during the early 1970s. All of them are extremely hard to find nowadays and, obviously, became sought-after collector items.
