After appearing on the Universal Vibes label compilation and vinyl sampler with deep house bomb Here I Am, Hungarian artist Jaffa Surfa steps up to deliver an ep of deep electronic house music. Here I Am was on the first vinyl sampler and received some amazing feedback, warm chords, heavy production and chopped up vocals combine in a heady groove that will flood the dancefloor with warm soulful waves. This is followed by Rootz, a slightly old school groove brought right up to date, again oozing warmth from its electronic heart …proper deep house music Finally we have Shecago, again old school in its sound but thoroughly modern in its groove and production, with a slightly mellower feel than the other tracks. Three tracks of deep, electronic soulful house music from an artist we predict big things for…will appeal to fans of labels like Freerange, Buzzin' Fy and Urban Torque… JAFFA SURFA BIOG Zee (aka. jaffa surfa) The 27 year old young man got in serious touch with the turntables and dj-ing in 1999. Before that, at the age of 15 he played guitars, drums and the keyboards in a small band Later he was hooked on chicago house and early dubby techno soundz, and started to collect cassettes and vinyl. In the beginnings he played techno, house, tribal, epic-house tracks, but nowadays we can find from nujazz through deep & chicago house to fresh minimal funk and hypnotic techhouse sounds in his sets. In 2001 he was the winner of the Check Magazine bedroom dj contest and earned the second place at Red Bull Master Of Music dj championship in 2004 from the 317 competitors with his 3 turntable set. Since 2002 Zee has been a resident dj at ROXY CLUB and was the editor and broadcaster at ALISCA GROOVE 91.1FM radio from 2002 to 2004. His own parties called *audiodelight special* are successful and beloved all over the country in the underground house scene. Along with Gergely Tar they have a unique live set with percussions, decks, bass, FX and sometimes live vocalists. As well as this he tours the whole country and Europe with his dj sets. Zee is one of the few real selectors who are universal but unique in the dj booth with his amazing warm ups, groovy peak time and crazy afterparty sets. Since 2006 Zee has been producing his own tracks. His releases are signed on labels like Devoted, Irma, Universal Vibes and C-Audio. Being a real vinyl junkie he still supports and playes wax and collects all good music on physical releases. Zee has played at Hungary's best clubs, events, festivals and in some European countries too like Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Romania etc.
