Tone Control Music continue the release pressure with their latest signing Poussez vs. DeMarkus Lewis with a superb new single titled "Passin Thru" featuring fantastic remixes from Atjazz. Teaming up with ace soulful vocalist, Hannah Khemoh (Poettiquette, Reel People) and dope keys player Andy 'Touch' Fingers (from Jafar and Touch of Hustle music, Artizan and more), "Passin Thru" is a killer slice of gorgeously deep dancefloor soul. Poussez is the electronic brainchild of London-based, dj/producer duo JAFAR (Jafar & Touch / Poetiquette / Rare Unit) and MAXIME CESCAU (Tonrausch / Toastburglar/ Waxjackkers). "Passin Thru" sees them join forces with old friend and legendary stateside deep house producer DEMARKUS LEWIS. Man of the moment, Atjazz was the natural choice for a remix. Following his recent hit album "Full Circle" featuring collaborations with Ernesto, Clara Hill, and Robert Owens, to name a few, and alongside his recent Version remixes with production partner Charles Webster for Miso, Sonar Kollektiv, Innervisions and more, Atjazz turns in a very heavy peak time monster deemed to have the dancefloor breaking out in a sweat. Featuring both vocal and instrumental versions from Atjazz, "Passin Thru" takes the label on a deeper journey than previous releases and looks set to continue to build on the already excellent reputation of Tone Control. |
