The XX Files EP is the latest from Matrixxman, co-owner of the Soo Wavey imprint and formerly known for his work with 5kinAndBone5, on Brooklyn's Fifth Wall Records. The release culls influences from late 80s/early 90s dance music with particular nods to classic Detroit techno and WBMX-era Chicago house, and remixes come courtesy of London's Ill Life and Irish producer Myler.
