Aniligital Music's first release in 2008 is "Emmylou's Underwater Petting Zoo" from Tal M. Klein with remixes by Neighbour (Homebreakin), Omegaman (Super Hi-Fi), and Cubase Dan (Yerba Buena Discos). What starts up as a straight up disco groove turns into a hammond laced funk explosion with fierce drum solos, flutes, cut up beats, and even a pinch of reggae for good measure. Canadian disco funky party breaks superstar Neighbour (Neighborhood Romeo) rubs Tal's track with a tight punchy jazzy interpretation of the original along with his trademark Homebreakin beats and deep soulful basslines. Omegaman offers an insane funk laden remix with heavy funk floor filling flavours and breakdowns which may require a safety harness just to keep the needle from jumping off the record. And last but not least, rising San Francisco house star Cubase Dan from Yerba Buena Discos comes through with a stripped down nearly naked hip hop flavored groove perfect for the mushroom jazz set.
