Pete Dafeet - Losing The Dog E.P.

Pete Dafeet

Losing The Dog E.P.

Artizan Music

Released: 17th August 2009 | 4 track house ep
Following hot on the heels of Demarkus Lewis, is Artizan's latest bomb from Lost my Dog's main man and promising UK producer; Pete Dafeet. Berkshire's finest brings the deep pressure, with the tasty two-track, 'Losing the Dog E.P'. Pete has been carving a serious niche for himself in recent years; Lost My dog has had well over 30 releases out, many by the man himself. Dafeet's tracks are consistent dancefloor destroyers with a wide appeal. He's also found his way on to the likes of Shaboom, Robsoul, Baker Street and Blacksoul Music, bridging the house/techno divide beautifully. We hope you'll agree there is a timeless appeal to much of what Dafeet does and both these tracks deliver the goods yet again. On the remix, we've kept it simple, its the welcome return of Artizan's own Jafar & Maxime Cescau, under their 'Poussez' guise. The pair have been causing quite the ruckus with recent cutz on Huddtraxx, LoudEast and Tonecontrol, whilst Roberto Rodriquez, Jordan Rivera and Nacho Marco just re-jigged their 'Vacation EP' for Blacksoul Music. In their own signature sound, Jafar and Max go straight for the techno jugular with their 'Forever Dreaming Mix'. A chordy main room stomper that we can see devastating the Summer terraces… SATOSHI TOMIE (Saw / DefMix, Japan): I love Her Eyes and Sun Spot original mix!! Feels like a floating space…good vibes:). Full support! SCOPE (Urbantorque / Large, Ireland): Love Poussez's stuff and the originals are nice too! :) LAWNCHAIR GENERALS (Om / Lowdown, Seattle) Digging all three tunes, especially 'Her Eyes' (Poussez's Mix). Great slices of deep techiness, job well done! JAY TRIPWIRE (Seasons / Tonality, Canada): Even tho young Da feet looks like harry potter or a future Dr Who, he sure can make some decent haus muzak. My pic of the bunch is her eyes, which I assume is about the cross eyed girlfriend he has, who frighteningly resembles Olive from On the Buses. She does make a nice no crust marmite sarny on whole grain spelt bread though, (wheat gives her the runs) while peter does magic tricks and plays u his hot new jams. Yeah! Murray Richardson (20/20 Vision / Nordic Trax) Love the poussezz remix and sunspot is hot too!! FUNKY TRANSPORT (20:20 / Tanzen, Aberdeen): 3 Solid tracks, will be caning all of these, especially 'Sunspot'.. Good work lads! DEMARKUS LEWIS (Grin Music / OM, Dallas): Soundz like team spirit!!! Very hot..all mixes are slammin!..strictly for the CLUB!! Expect full support from the D!! HARRI (SubClub / Lost My Dog, Glasgow): Original Mix of Her Eyes and SunSpot are good for me! DA SUNLOUNGE (Myna, Nottingham): Her Eyes (Poussez' Mix) is the one I'm more into. JOTA WAGNER (Colors, Brazil) Love the EP! EDDIE LEADER / SLUM SCIENCE (Huddtraxx, Manchester): sunspot's the pick for me! Cheers PETE DAFEET (Lost My dog, Loughborough): I think this is the best release ever! Your remix is spot on! ;) MAD MATS (Raw Fusion, Stockholm): Sunspot is the one…hot! TIMO GARCIA (Berwick Street, London): Am really digging your Poussez remix of the her eyes track, deep and solid! BAMO (Guess Records): Really good ep here. It's deep but has got some life to it. Will play all the tracks, but Poussez's mix just edging it for me…Cheers! FRANKIE MEDINA (Souljack, Los Angeles): Artizan! Props once again!! A Solid E.P from Pete Dafeet. Poussez mix of 'Her Eyes' is the one that takes it to the next level – Jafar and Maxime never cease to impress. Their mix is solid house at its floor pounding dreamy best!
