Thunder

A 2 track crossover jazz single (7m 23s) — released September 2nd 2016 on Deep Heads

Ash Walker is back people!

His debut album went off with a bang and was an instant success with critics and fans alike.

Radio DJ's Gideon Coe, Gilles Peterson, Don Letts, Tom Robinson (All BBC 6Music) and Dom Severni (Wah Wah 45's) were all playing Ash Walker's Music on a regular basis, while publications like XLR8R, Clash Mag & Okay Player, all gave glowing reviews on his album "Augmented 7th"

There has been no rest for Ash, who has been busy writing his follow up album "Echo Chamber" that will be released in October 2016 on Deep Heads.

Here we proudly present to you, the first Single taken from his follow up album "Echo Chamber" that feature vocals from fellow Londoner - Lord Laville, entitled "Thunder"

Lord Laville's soulful vocals are warming and have a certain 90's flavour to his tones.

His musical CV is impressive and has recorded tracks with 'DJ Vadim' "They don't love"

'Alex Evans' & 'Andrew Beaton' (Mixing Engineers for Basement jaxx) and 'Big Narstie' "Lost in the world"

The recording "Thunder" is a mellow Trip Hop roller, and really feels like Ash has settled into his sound with this production.

Subtle beats, floaty Rhodes and guitar licks surround the track with an abundance of warmth and low end, while Lord Laville provides that all important hook.

As the song progresses, we hear Ash jump onto the Moog for an improvisation that is nothing short of infectious.

On the AA side, we have "Goblins" that is a more up tempo recording that displays some masterful production techniques from Ash.

Watch out for Ash Walker's album "Echo Chamber" coming October 2016, it's going to be a smash!
