Bambola Records have been quietly building a fan base of music lovers over their five releases. The sound is different each time, but always experimental electronic music with one clear thread linking them together; Japanese / UK collaborations. The brainchild of DJ and radio presenter Nick Luscombe, Bambola is cutting a definite style of its own. This E.P features four tracks by Japanese electronica artists Lopp with vocals by British based dancehall MC Sista Widey. Welcome has also been completely remixed by Orijahnal Productions to turn a stunning futuristic dub track into a simple yet hauntingly beautiful song with string and piano. Former Mo Wax recording artist Palmskin Productions also twists Flashing to give an incredible, genre defying dance track which has been proving a hit with DJs lucky enough to have had upfront copies of the track. This record is the second of four limited edition releases from Bambola Recordings, called the Seasons Series, with winter represented on this stunning record sleeve by the Tokyo based designer, Fumihiko Ozaki. The series will be continued with releases in spring and summer 2005.'
