Dan Havers (DC Breaks) and Sam Ashwell (Colony Productions) formed VENT in 2007 with the premise of fusing styles, genres and tempos with one common thread.... BASSLINE. Having stormed onto the breaks scene in 2008 with the massive Encoded and Break The Silence EP (Hardcore Beats), they immediately gained a nomination at Breakspoll for "Best Break Through Producers".The duo have since been invited to showcase multiple guest mixes for Annie Nightingale's Radio One show (selected by her in the top mixes of the decade) and Jay Cunning on Kiss FM, and have played Glastonbury, Glade, BLOC, Bedlam, Fabric, toured Australia and New Zealand on top of a mass of other UK and European dates. This EP was their first release on Colony.
