The Fall Of Liberty EP

A 6 track beats & breaks ep (29m 42s) — released June 9th 2008 on Data-Trace Records

Following up from the much-enjoyed 'Mortal Coils' EP, Data-Trace return with their 2nd release 'The Fall Of Liberty' EP. Oscillating somewhere between electro, breakbeat, dubstep and techno, this has already received a phenomenal amount of support from jocks and punters alike. BBC Radio 1's Mary Anne Hobbs featured Ver's 'Trade off' on her BREEZEBLOCK Show, whilst Mazzula's 'Bass Bias' recently featured on Dave Clarke's 'WHITENOISE'radio show. Further support comes from the likes of Si Begg, Radiocative Man and Warlock, to name but a few.

There’s definite value for money here as 6 tracks are squeezed on to the second Data Trace release. This is underground music at its most experimental - Kai-1 I-DJ (June Issue)

Good to see Data-Trace living up to its first release, traversing the dirty, crunchy, squelchy middle ground between electro, techno and dubstep. - Joe Muggs Mixmag June
