Dope D.O.D. is a Dutch hip-hop crew that puts strong vocal lines on heavy aggressive beats. The name originates from Mc Dopey Rotten (DOPE) and Skits Vicious & Jay Reaper (Duo of Darkness). These three outspoken characters teamed up and they stand out by being their remarkable selves. Language is clearly no barrier for Dutch hip-hop collective Dope D.O.D. For the past year, they have been at the forefront of a budding European hip-hop scene. Their sound can be described as "a new realm of hardcore hip hop with classic styles and European electronic sound thrown in the mix."

In January 2011, Dope D.O.D. crashed onto the scene with their debut music video "What Happened." The video was greeted with a strong reception, resonating with fans internationally on its way to racking up 10 million Youtube views to date. After their showcases at SXSW and Canadian Music Week they closed a worldwide deal with The Agency Group. By than talks with international labels had started and in August the group announced a North American deal with the famous hip hop label Duck Down records. During the Lowlands festival (biggest festival in Holland) the group inked another deal with Rough Trade Distribution who will hande the group's releases for Europe.
