The finale in Maylee Todd's "Hieroglyphics" remix saga is this limited-edition 12" vinyl release with two totally different yet equally slamming treatments of her recent single: a head-nodding, hypnotic joint from next-generation beatmaster Tall Black Guy; and a percussive tech-house banger from Toronto production duo The MAKEOVER. This new release follows up on the now sold-out 7" remix by Kon & The Gang that had more of a disco boogie vibe.

Born in the cradle of techno, Detroit and now based in Chicago, Terrel Wallace (aka Tall Black Guy) has been building a massive online following through a steady output of killer productions that have championed by tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson, Anthony Valadez, and Lefto. He has released on BSTRD Boots, First Word Records and his own imprint Tall Black Guy Productions; and collaborated with artists The Primeridian, Malice & Mario Sweet, DJ Vadim and The Electric. The MAKEOVER is comprised of Toronto producer/DJ/musician/vocalist team Jeremy Glenn and Rod Skimmins. The duo has rocking dance floors all over the city, with live performances featuring their original songs as well as covers, mashes and creative remixes.
