Bloco Electro is a band who's energetic and exciting live shows have seen them wowing audiences from Glastonbury to Bestival with their leftfield beats performed on a selection of real and electronic drums. Bloco Electro are back in the studio working on the follow up to their debut album Global Beatbox Part 1. These remixes give a flavour of what's to come with a bigger Brazilian influence and some tougher beats. My Beatbox Rox! includes 4 remixes inspired by a recent mission to Brazil to seek out the favela funk beats of Rio de Janeiro and the samba swing of Salvador. These mixes feature guest carioca vocals from Lyrah - a Brazilian artist based in the UK and a beats only version for drumheads. This EP is the 3rd release from the Bloco Electro album Global Beatbox – Part 1. Cover art features Polaco by Lyrah Colvin.
