The glorious, unique vocal range of Corks Áine Duffy is revealed in the opening moments of her new single 'Don't Do Much'. The combination of bluesy guitar sounds and synth paints a metropolitan backdrop and lends a fitting soundscape to the lead track from her forthcoming album.
A talented multi-instrumentalist, Áine recorded her album 'With Bells On' with the help of Toby Eaton (Wiggle), Billy Farrell (Ryan Sheridan) and the album was produced by Willem Blok and avant-garde producer and composer Stano.
Frequently basing herself in New York, Áine gigs relentlessly, playing well known venues such as BB King's and Rockwood Music Hall. She has also toured the UK, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain as well as the United States.
She was a Hotpress/2fm Arthur's Day finalist and has played support to acts such as Imelda May, Jack L, Kila, The Frank and Walters, and John Spillane.
An avid lover of grass roots promotion, Áine has engaged in a social media campaign to find unique performance spaces to include as part of her upcoming Irish tour.
