They create a fantastic blend of soul, pop and funk and demonstrate an unusual approach to melodies, unconventional chord progressions and beautiful harmonies… all mixed together with painfully honest Nordic melancholies. VII follows their critically acclaimed debut album â€Different Phase†(released in 2009 on Ubeat Records) and is reminiscent of 1980's synthesized funk and futuristic studio experiments with a playfulness that could be likened to Hendrix or Prince's uncompromising studio work
