West London producer Mr Patrick Kenmore, and his alter ego Oblong returns with the rather lovely Playing on my mind.

Complimenting Mr O's electronic talents we have Adam Parker on vocals, last seen in action as featured vocalist on Sasha's recent hit High Life

Playing on my mind tells the story about a situation we've all been in at one time or another. The situation where absolutely everything you think or do brings you back to the same place, the time when just one other person should be in your life, yes folks its lurrrrve we're talking about here. Playing on my mind is a poignant ode to the trials and tribulations of being in love and it's a very fine track indeed as you are about to discover

On Remix duties we have Maelstrom aka Solar Disco, whose remix of Metro Area's seminal Miura brought heaps of praise from Todd Terje, Lindstrom, Prins Thomas and DFA to name but a few. For Playing on My mind Mr M gives it the full nu space disco boogie thang mixing smoky beats with subliminal hooks and understated melodies to deliver a mighty delicious mixture

Also delivering something of a pearler mixwise is our very own man in Berlin Cloud who goes for the cooler more minimal approach as befits his Swedish background. The emphasis here is on the plangent guitar refrain and stripped down vocals, providing a perfect example of less is more with this heavily atmospheric mix.
