Released: 1st July 2013 | 9 track downtempo album

Following on from their highly successful debut as part of exceptionals' Sky EP series and the equally acclaimed second single Mathis and Tetchener/Smoothie Bluprint now unveil their debut album and what an album it is too, choc full of treats and surprises.

Already championed by key supporters such as Jockey Slut, LTJ Bukem, Gilles Peterson, Ross Allen and Patrick Forge the Devon based three piece look set to widen their fanbase dramatically with the release of Foundation. A lush confection of live instruments and synthesized electronics the album reflects the bands many influences coupled with the fact that unlike many of their contemporaries they are more than capable of doing it live.

Despite having only released two singles Bluprint tracks have already been the subject of some heavy compilation licencing activity. In the UK they have featured on Sony's Acoustic Chill compilation, a Mixmag covermount and on more than a dozen other compilations. Still to come is a track on the new Boy George compilation released as part of the highly respected Trust the DJ series.

The Bluprint sound combines a smoky atmospheric feel with layer upon layer of instrumentation. They are masters of the slow build with many of the tracks evolving and mutating as they gradually draw the listener into their own unique musical world. Other tracks feature sparing use of guitar or occasional vocals on top of the basic keys/bass/drums format to add an extra dimension to the music
