Debuting on Grid Recordings back in 2000, Zen has 8 years of dancefloor destroying back catalogue behind him. His tracks have received heavy rotation and praise from all the biggest names in Drum & Bass, and as a DJ and remixer he is very much in demand at the moment thanks to a run of massive tracks creeping out of his studio over the last 12 months. This release is the follow up to the huge like 'Hovercraft' which appeared on Grid Recordings earlier in the year. Flipmode Audio starts as it means to go on with two contrasting tracks of the highest quality. 'Full Effect' is a straight up dancefloor and wastes no time getting down to business with a two basslines battling each other for supremacy. 'Shoot 'Em Up' rolls and rolls with infectious bass stabs, perfectly placed fx's and light percussion behind a tight powerful kick and snare workout. Both these tracks have received plays from the likes of DJ Hype, Nicky Blackmarket, Ruffstuff, Friction and many more.
