The Midlands duo take us on a bass fuelled ride through the world of Bud (with the help of a little THC). Bouncy bleeps and scratches litter the roadside, as fellow Brummie, ‘Man of the moment’, Micky Slim adds his own dose of filth to the proceedings with his ‘Extra Wrong Mix’. The self-confessed house-head has been making quite a name for himself in recent months with his string of cheeky remixes, namely his re rub of “Jump Around†by House of Pain. After recently catching the attention of the dance nation when Radio 1 broadcast his 45 minute Essential Mix, recorded live from Global Gathering (delivered at the last minute, after James Zabelia got stuck in traffic!), golden boy Slim has come up with the goods once more to create this twisted electro monster! The second remix is a funkier affair, courtesy of one of Europe’s biggest dance music producers â€" Madox. On the ‘Space Disco Mix’ he showcases his style to full effect, loading it with techno energy and throwing everything he has at the track, emerging victorious with a guaranteed club smash. Italian based Madox has been nominated for numerous awards for his solo productions as well as collaborating on a recent Y4K compilation as one half of Trouble Soup!!, with label mate Santos.
