In 2011, with years of successful career in the Asian American underground scene behind him, Johnnyphlo signed a record deal with UrbanEarLAB and decided to further pursue his career in the Korean mainstream market. Currently, Johnnyphlo is working on his debut album in Korea, anticipated to be released in early 2014. His first single "Happy Ending" was released in the summer of 2012. "Happy Ending" sets the general tone of his upcoming, yet-to-be-titled debut album, which will feature a trilogy of three songs, with all three songs based on a mixture of hip-hop and rock genre.

"S.T.A.Y. (Still Thinkin' About You) Pt. 3" is yet another single from his upcoming album. Produced by UrbanEarLAB's very own, See.One, Johnnyphlo goes back to his more usual self and approaches his listeners with the sound that they are more used to hearing from him, R&B/Hip-hop. This song is a sequel to one of his most popular songs, "S.T.A.Y. Pt. 2", from his first mixtape "Notebook" (2009).
