Debut album release from 23 year old singer/songwriter Chris Townsend. The album is a 10-track collection blending rhythmic guitars, catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics and driving pianos revealing a mature, diverse and extremely promising young singer/songwriter, who has already been ear-marked as one of the brightest new talents in 2008. Since early 2006 when he supported "The Feeling" Chris has played over 100 shows all over the UK culminating in a 3 night sold-out gig at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2007. The 23-year-old has also played a number of concerts in Copenhagen, Denmark during a six-month stay there between August 2006 and January 2007 and plans to return later this year to promote the new single and album. This creates an ethereal and dramatic sound; similar to that of bands such as Crowded House, The Verve and Coldplay with further comparisons being drawn from the likes of US artists Gavin Degraw, John Mayer, Howie Day and The Dave Matthews Band.
