This is the second offering from the UK based songwriter and producer whose first album 'Distant Shores' was met with great reception on both sides of the Atlantic ocean. "Island Life" follows on from The Ox's first album offering a beautiful mix of chill out and dance orientated tracks combined with the real instrumentation performances that have set him apart from the other artists of the same genre. There is a nice mix of different aesthetics to each of the 11 tracks that cart you off into the various soundscapes that The Ox weaves out for his listeners.
