Karl Denson started out as Saxophonist with Lenny Kravitz appearing on both 'Let Love Rule' & 'Mama Said'. He first came to prominence with The Greyboy Allstars in the mid-nineties. Karl Denson's Tiny Universe have recorded three albums for legendary Jazz label Blue Note Records and are currently a big draw on the American 'Jam Band' circuit. For their debut release on Freestyle the band team up with Michael Franti (Spearhead/Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy), Fred Wesley (JB's/George Clinton),Saul Williams (The Fugees/De La Soul ) & Roy Hargrove (D'Angelo/Erykah Badu).'
