Their debut 12' for Freestyle featured DJ Spinna, Jurassic 5, Me'shell Ndegeocello, Ekene Nwokoye, The Beatnuts and many others.
Carrying on the impressive CV, here we see them hook up with the queen of 80s soul, Chaka Khan. Well versed in moving butts, she drops her distinctive voice all over the laidback funk groove turning it into an essential slice of new soul. Elsewhere on this release you'll find the heavy alto sax of Cochemea Gastelum on 'Glad Ta Know Ya ' and the vocal stylings of Ian Neville on 'Got Soul' and 'Take it Easy'.'
