Let It Go (Remixes)

A 5 track electropop ep (21m 35s) — released June 12th 2006 on First Word Records

With English Summer rearing its indecisive head, and a soggy sausages mix with sunburns you can rely on First World Records to bring you a warm and relaxing soundtrack, whatever the weather. Back with another slab of that laid back jazz thing 'Let if go' the second single from Leeds outfit Today's Mathematics comes fully laden with remixes from Tru-Thoughts/Ubiquity's Nostalgia 77 and First Word Records' own broken genius, Cedar Ben ' Nostalgia 77' Lamdin - remixed for likes of Quantic Soul Orchestra, Baker Brothers, and DJ Format Cedar - drum and bass background with releases on Bukem's Good Looking Records Praise for Record: 'If Q-tip had been born in England chances are he'd be fronting a group like Today's Mathemtaics' - Blues and Soul 'Fundamentally good on all fronts, and utterly captivating' - Echoes Magazine 'On a cold grey morning this was a fantastic breath of fresh air. Love this Record' Charlie Dark I love the Cedar mix, playing this one out. (Brad Baloo 'The NextMen': Various: Worldwide) Played this last night, nice tune esp n77 remixes (Mixmaster Morris - Various - Worldwide) N77 comes up trumps yet again. Interesting ep. Not mad keen on her vocal though. The track 3 is very good for personal reaction. Charting at No 20. (Found Sounds (DJ Mag: Various / London) Last 12' was great. It's the Nostalgia 77 track which shines. Lovely instrumental too. Need a vinyl copy !! The track 4 is very good for personal and audience reaction. (Nik Weston: Murasuku / Club Brasil / Samourai fm: Award International / Mode / Jazz Café - Worldwide) Not floor filling gear, but nice all the same. The Nostalgia 77 remix comes out on top here for me, sounding better than the original. Charting at No 17. (Boca 45 'Dynamo Productions': Various / All over) A great single, the Nostalgia 77 remix rub is very special indeed? The tracks 3 and 4 are very good for personal reaction. Charting at No 1. (Flevans: Tru Thoughts, Phonic Hoop, Various: brighton) Nice n mellow. All the tracks are brilliant for personal and audience reaction. Charting at No 15. (Neil Diablo: Nish Nash Nosh, Electrics, Various - Manchester) Really feeling this group the vocal here works fine on the original but the remixes definitely offer what its needs for the floor.. The tracks 1, 3 and 5 are very good for personal reaction and the tracks 1 and 4 are very good for audience reaction. Charting at No 6. (Tane: Chibuku - London) Quality release. I don't play Cd's out. Will buy on vinyl on release. Another quality release from first word. The track 3 is very good for personal reaction. (Aldo Vanucci: Quay / Timopifle / Suase Lounge: Southwest) Heard this one on a radio show brilliant Cedar remix is my favourite here a quality producer great to hear a jazzy broken beat number with depth. N77 remix really good also. A brilliant label strong single. Thanks for including us !! Full support. The tracks 1,2,3 and 4 are very good for personal and audience reaction. (Dave Spenceley 'Music Evolution/Sound Architecture?: Various - SW) The Cedar remix is wicked - real future music in effect. Nostalgia 77 comes correct in a nice tell jazz style sound for the bar. The tracks 1 and 2 are brilliant and the tracks 3 and 4 are very good for personal and audience. Charting at No 4. (Ian Cracknell / Vibra - Various - Sheffield) Another solid release from first word (A La Fu: Big Dada: Radio Skool - Glasgow)'

Cedar mix is sloppy dirty funky exquisite. Def play on show. Not much into other mixes. The track 1 is very good for personal reaction. (The Loose Canons ? Kiss FM, Various - Worldwide) Yes I like it ! All the tracks are very good for personal reaction. The tracks 3, 4 and 5 are very good for audience reaction. (Nico De Ceglia ?
