Elmore Grove EP

A 4 track adult contemporary ep (21m 6s) — released September 22nd 2008 on Genuine

The Elmore Grove EP is the first taster from the debut album from London band Captive State, due out Spring 2009. The EP is the creation of writers Joseph Kennedy and Tom Bootle, working with producer Nick Franglen (Lemon Jelly) and mix engineer Dom Morley. The early Captive State demo's rendered a glowing endorsement from Brian Eno and more recently Bob Harris described the songs as 'Spectacular, glorious and very creative music'. The lead single from the Elmore Grove EP, 'Mona', was recently record of the week on Radcliffe and Maconie's Radio 2 show. During BBC London's London Calling feature Gary Crowley describes the EP as 'forward-thinking and spiritually uplifting'.
