Grin Recordings present the 'Whatever / Vega' EP, the first collaboration (of many) from London based DJ/producers Tim Cullen & DJames.

'Whatever' features an upbeat filtered disco groove which keeps the dance-floor poised from start to finish. This track is topped off by a spoken vocal in the breakdown, courtesy of uber-talented singer Trudi Mosiamo.

Grin head honchos So Called Scumbags turn in a remix of massive proportions adding rare groove elements to their percussive house sound.

'Vega' adds a darker, deeper side to the EP. One for the early morning dance-floors for sure!!

Grin resident Tim Cullen has had an outstanding 2011 so far, having had numerous tracks supported by the world's top DJs His remix of 'So Called Scumbags' Punch hit the #2 spot on djdownload.com earlier this year, and is still tearing up dance-floors around the globe. Tim is also gaining some great live gigs, including a closing set in the Box at The Ministry of Sound alongside Laidback Luke at the official SW4 festival after-party.

DJames joined the London club circuit in 2003. Inspired by 90's producers such as Masters at Work, MK and Kerri Chandler his style infuses house music of all styles from deep and grooving to techy and percussive.

Capital FM will be featuring the release with a 'phone-in' from So Called Scumbags on 03/12/2011. The release is also receiving widespread support from DJs and taste-makers including the DMC Buzz chart, Sister Bliss (Faithless), Seb Fontaine and Boy George with keen interest from specialist radio stations including Kiss 100, Heart FM, Juice FM & Endless Boundaries Jam Radio (USA).
