There is certainly no denying that Zen is on a roll right now. After producing one of the biggest underground anthems of 2008 in the shape of 'Hovercraft', and launching his own label Flip Audio, he returns to with his biggest release to date. Receiving heavy rotation in club land from the likes of DJ Hype, Grooverider and Friction, as well as love across the BBC Radio 1 specialist shows this EP is set to catapult Zen into the spotlight. The statement of intent is clear, this is the 'Land of the Giants', and Zen is crushing all competition. On 'Your Shout' Zen enlists a little support from production trio Killabeatz, takes a vocal hook from Gry, adds in a catchy distorted guitar riff, trademark beats and a huge synth bassline and the results are definitely anthem material. This is one you'll be hearing all summer long. On 'Land of the Giants' Zen gets a down and dirty with marching two step drums, and a bouncing bassline to produce something altogether different. 'Hovercraft VIP' is a familiar tale, initially only intended to be an exclusive dubplate for Grid DJ's, the demand for this remix has been immense. After a barrage of emails and forum posts demanding a release, we finally caved in and give the people what they want! This remix adds a little more bounce into proceedings whilst keeping all the elements which made the original so popular. Completely flipping the script on 'Dark 'Em Up', Zen gives a nod to the classic Phantom Force and comes delivers an absolute bruiser of a tune, definitely not for the faint hearted.
