Mr. 2Kay Drops His Sophomore Album, ELEVATED

It is with utmost pleasure that we present Mr. 2Kay's sophomore album titled, ELEVATED. This album is packed with 14 tracks including his earlier released singles – "Belema", "Pray For Me.," "Banging" ft. Reekardo Banks is another follow up track to be released on the 2nd of February 2018 and a bonus track – "Belema saxophone version" ft. Peter Ajani.

The 'ELEVATED' album is a reflection Mr. 2Kay's growth since his debut single "Run This Town" to his first album, 'WATERSIDE BOY' followed by several hit records such as "Bubugaga," which got 4 stars from the British daily Mirror and 6/10 by Mix mag magazine, "Summer Girl," and "Bad Girl Special," ft. Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay. 2Kay's growth on the music scene continued with the 'COUNT IT ALL JOY' EP that housed the classic "Who No Like Better Thing" with The Jonsers, "Ladder" ft. Flavour, "Moniegram" ft. Timaya and "Count It All Joy."

Mr. 2Kay, real name David Abinye Jumbo has survived as a musician that started from the Ghetto parts of troubled waterfront in Nigeria and positioned himself as a unique talent in a highly saturated music industry. He was awarded the contemporary artiste of the year in the 2017 by city people awards.He went through a major attack to say the least yet he stands tall and ELEVATED today.

'ELEVATED' is a true life story, broken down in units of songs and sounds aptly created with producers like Ayzed, Micon, Chordles, Wee Beats, Orbeat, Mr. Klem, Saintrizle Jay Stunt, Charles B and Idahams. The album was mostly mixed and mastered by Barangoduppy. Other engineering of the album includes Mr 2kay on the 'Pray for me' track and Body of a Goddes ft Cynthia morgan engineered and Mastered by Jay stunt.
