Sumo EP 2

A 2 track house ep (13m 4s) — released December 8th 2010 on Heya Hifi

It all started back in 1999. Alf Tumble and Combo released their first proper EP on Trackmode, the renowned deep house label from New York. The EP was titled "SUMO EP 1" and the name was thereafter used as the duo's artist name. Under the SUMO imprint, and later as Bangana, Alf & Combo released plenty of dance music including two albums and major releases on Africanism, Soulfuric, Sfere, Dessous, Heya Hifi and Seasons.

Today, eleven years later, it's time for the second round. This time the SUMO EP holds two single projects, one on each side, if you like to think vinyl. The sounds are even more old school than it was in 1999. Alf Tumble pays tribute to the legendary club "Le Garage" in Stockholm (1994-1997) where he was raised and deeply influenced by the work of Murk, Stickmen, MK, Dj Pierre and Junior Vasquez. Combo, on his side goes deep with dirty electronic sounds and disco samples, just like it used to be.
