HOT SHIT! Dope Afro Funk

A 7 track funk album (38m 22s) — released January 1st 1970 on Hot Shit

Volume two of the "Dope Afro Funk" compilation series including some highly sought-after funk obscurities! Excavating another choice batch of rare grooves ranging from afro-rock, boogie-funk, psychedelic beats and beyond!!!Side A starts with pure funk by Brutal Froce's "The number for groove". Another highlight is the boogie-funk rarity "Make your body move tonite" by Hot & Sassy (the same group that brought us "Christmas Strutt"). Accompanied by two RC edits (the artist formerly known as R. Cravallo :) of "Sossego" and "Ayayaya".Flip for Needa's "Come On And Rock" a holy grail from 1979 that is an obscure Daniele Baldelli spin also found on his legendary "Rember Baia Degli Angeli" Mix-CD. Followed by Celebrant's "Off Beats" and Coach House Rhythm Section's Instrumental version of "No Such Thing". In summary lot's of cute stuff going on this compilation, which should be able to plug some holes in even the biggest of record collections!
