Released: 21st June 2010 | 14 track disco album
The long awaited album of Los Charly's Orchestra is finally completed and ready to go! This CD is cross-generational piece of music, which skilfully encapsulates in 60 mins the liveliest picture of the 70's NY culture clash from a contemporary point of listening. The re-birth of Disco Funk has definitively spread around and Los Charly's are clearly the result of this phenomenon. Combining their usual psychedelic Jazz-Funk grooves with their fully powered Disco tunes and the friendliness of their Latin Southern Soul, Juan & Jorge and has finally managed to complete this lovely CD, which express in a very clear way the philosophy of Los Charly's Orchestra. The CD contains four new songs plus the stuff from the previous releases all mastered through analogue gear for a deeper sound. Check out for The Funk Inspector in between the new tunes, as well as Disco Gamma and Funk Flow all of then serious killers in their own way! (For an extra bonus there is a hidden version of The Funk Inspector Extended a few minutes after the end on track 13, a real Disco Journey) Available on CD worldwide from Monday 7th June from the usual music shops, Distributed by Kudos Ltd. Super bass laden Disco retro Jazz Funk orchestral sound from this 70's psychedelic sounding Disco band. The Ultimate Loft party soundtrack Time Out The Latin fusion band of the future - A bailar with Los Charly's! Phil Asher (Restless Soul) The MFSB of today - Los Charly's Stuart Patterson (Faith) I really like this band, the production is great! Severino (HorseMeatDisco) Slammin Disco, and they are all original live strings swirl, brass stabs. La musica de Los Charly's es el rey de la noche! (Los Charly's music is the king of the night) Simon Lee (Faze action) I didn't know what to expect with the Los Charly's tracks, but am genuinely surprised at how good they are - very jazz-funk and not painfully cliched Sean P
