2006 was the year K&S made the jump from being a cool retro-funk act pumping out some essential vinyl releases to a world beating live act with one of the funkiest debut albums in recent history. In between releasing their own records and touring the US, UK, their home country of Holland and everywhere in-between they also found time to do some serious re-rubs of friends, acquaintances and the odd superstars work. In 2007 They have already played live on Australia’s Good Vibrations Tour, performed a lock out show at SXSW and DJ’ed in Miami with Kruder & Dorfmeister and Ben Watt. Here they collect their finest re-works, re-rubs and re-touches (and anything else you want to call a remix thesedays!) for luminaries such as Jamiroquai, Max Sedgley, Fort Knox Five, Richard Dorfmeister, Lack Of Afro and Resin Dogs. Throughout these tracks you can hear the unique and fresh vibe K&S bring to their production, be it the pumping afro-house style of Chris Joss's "A Part In That Show" or the more subtle soulful touch they bring to Mark Rae's "Medicine". Always funky, often off-the-wall and essential throughout.
