Kraak & Smaak the dutch band tipped by I-DJ as a must see live act are back with brand new material after the phenomenal success of their debut album Boogie Angst. Since launching their debut album two years ago the band have become one of the most popular live dance acts and have made serious inroads into the US market – on their last trip to LA they played a sell out headline show to 1000 people at the El Rey theatre sponsored by tastemaker radio station KCRW. Despite a raft of offers from the big boys for their new album, they have stuck by their label Jalapeno to be part of the funk revolution sweeping through dance music. Funk Ass Rotator uses a much loved funk break to power the track, with Ro Krom the frontman and drummer from their live show providing the vocals. A song devoted to their favourite kinda gals this is a dancefloor dominator. On the flipside Mad As Hell provides a tech-funk offering that will appeal to DJ's across the board from house to breaks to funk.
