All conquering live funk band The Apples have a secret that is about to become very well known. Radiotrip is the studio project of two of their founder members MixMonster (Uri Wertheim) and Schoolmaster (Ofer Tal). The Tel Aviv based producers, cut & paste artists and keen vinyl junkies are well known radio DJ's in their home country. Their wide range of influences led them to create a unique musical blend unconstrained by anything except their imaginations. Music Heads is the second album from Radiotrip a project that preceded the international fame of the Apples. Already released in Israel the album came to the attention of Jalapeno label boss Trevor Mac who knew he had found something special. "There are probably some really big legal issues involved in releasing this album so I've stopped taking calls from my lawyer in case he talks me out of it. It's too good to start messing around with replays and there's just so many samples it would be impossible so we're just putting it out as is and seeing who comes knocking" This album "Music Heads" contains elements of Turntabalism, blues, jazzed-up breaks, Funk beats and psychedelic samples -a journey into vinyl culture with hundreds of records from various countries and eras cut & paste into one blossoming, cheerful trip.
