'So Excited' is best summed up as eclectic, broken-beat dancefloor neo-soul. Motion Lab came to life while the duo was touring Europe. Motivated by British club DJs, who, in the same set were able to spin house, hip-hop, broken beat, and soul music without clearing the dance floor, Printz Board (Black Eyed Peas) and Caleb Speir (Nikka Costa) set to inventing their own sound. Board and Speir collaborated on this cut w/ vocalist Reggie Watts (Maktub).'
