If you've heard Max Fresh productions before, you'll already be expecting crisp production and straight to the point arrangement and that is exactly what you get. This time he comes with in our opinion, his best production yet; Unfinished Beat, a straight to the point broken beat bomb. Building up with a dirty broken groove, in comes the super heavy bassline, the nutty Latin percussion building until it gets to the break and… Mayhem! Round With A Hole, sees mark move in a different direction with ultra deep production, this is pure minimal house, that could easily be played by the likes of Steve Bug, Ricardo Villalobos and Co. Flip to Ride Up To The Stars and Mark goes vocal House with a twist, the beats are tuff but rolling, the bassline pushing the track along, as the vocals sit tightly above the groove. Finishing off the first sampler Intro, is a slow boogie track that would start a set perfectly, a ultra loose groove leaves plenty of space for the funky assed bassline to do it's thing, with analogue squelches making it in our judgment another stand out on the sampler. In all a good taste of things to come, with four tracks that span Broken Beat, Minimal, Boogie and Vocal House, each track sure to appeal to lots of different heads.
