Riding somewhat of a wave of publicity, Herve aka Josh Harvey cannot seem to put a foot wrong. The Young Lovers project grew from a concept that Josh had been working on to create an album of romantic music for headphones & holiday listening. This is not your typical chilled Ibiza project, but a piece of work that has grown from multitude of influences & ideas. The E.P. kicks of with Love You Madly, a proper dancefloor stormer with a haunting vocal loop and a chugging bassline. Next is You Make Me Dizzy with its haunting melodies & precise production which harps back to the 60's jazz club sound and makes this a record that you are not likely to forget in a long time! Flip the record over & we have Low Down Groove (DJ Fame remix). With this remix Fame has taken a musical composition and smashed it to pieces with some primetime Dubsided style beats, bats & glitches. As the track progresses more elements from the original are included, but with the drop just a few seconds away. To finish the EP is a collaboration with Trevor Loveys (the fist of many to come from this project). It has all the hallmarks of Trevor's unique deep and emotive sound, and is a perfect taster for the album to come.
