Originally commissioned by Latest Records as a Hammond-Party LP this turned into a 60's-70's influenced psychadelic English classic by accident. Tom Arnold (Steve Harley, Wang Chung and the Cutting Crew) teamed up with songwriter Simon Young (The Steamkings, Beachy Head Music Club) to make a careful study in intelligent English pop, a sort of Villiage Green for our times. The lyrics are Davies/Wyatt / Innes in character, the music rich and melodic, and the playing is peerless. Charlotte Glasson and Mark Allen are among the super-talent who make guest appearances alongside the dense vocal harmonies and Hammond B3, Wurlitzer, Mellotron, Fender Rhodes, Strings, Woodwind. If you loved the Zombies, the Beatles, Traffic, early Canterbury Scene, XTC etc etc you'll probably love this too.
