Nameless / Flow

Missing Link Records

Released: 19th December 2011 | 2 track dubstep single
Unveiling themselves as Oliver Caird and If Music owner Jean-Claude of The Amalgamation of Soundz fame, the formerly anonymous London based dub and bass duo Cessa are back with a brilliant 2-tracker on their Missing Link Sounds.

On the A side is 'Nameless', a lurcher filled with shuffling 2-step rhythms, warm subs and skittering electronics, which builds to reveal a dark kick drum halfway through the track. The flipside is an entirely different affair, hypnotic and overflowing with warm dubby baselines and soulful pitch shifted vocals.

Radio play from both John Kennedy and Eddie Temple Morris on XFM, DJ Flight (Rinse FM), Seb Chew (Rinse FM), Paul Hamill (BBC Radio Ulster), Mash (Capital FM), Laurent Garnier

Early club support from James Zabiela, Gorillaz Soundsystem, Tayo, Freq Nasty, Luciano (Cadenza), Nick Warren (Way Out West), Matt Scott - Rack N' Ruin, Jacob Plant.

"Yeah I'm feeling Nameless. Heavy tune. My sort of style. Gonna support it on Rinse today"
