Junkyard Production's sound is a mix of crispy lo-fi dub, jazzy vocals and Jamaican style mc'ing. The band played their first gig in February 2002, and has been playing live on a regular basis since then. The main influence is ol'skool Jamaican dub as well as the modern dub sound from Berlin. Founder of Junkyard-Production is Rasmus Allin. He's been working with electronic music since 1995, with the Danish band Dub Wise. He played guitar on the Örtz album 'Another Eden', from which the hit-single 'We Don't Talk' was taken. Christian is a computer-wizz and accomplished drummer. His greatest contribution to the band is his anarchistic sense of humour and spontaneity. Vibeke is a skilled singer in many different styles. She's also a singer-songwriter in her own right. MC Pops Jabu has been living in South Africa, Zimbabwe and London, before he settled down in Denmark. He already has several albums under his belt, in his own name as well as on albums from Cut'n'Move and Danish reggae band Sticks'n'Fire. Doing his thing live he can tear the roof of any venue. The Original Mix on this 12' is a downtempo dub track with jazzy vocals by Vibeke Nielsen. Next Ben Horn gives it an electro feel and brings the track to double tempo. Los Chicharrons adds the Coolie dance beat and turns the it into a dance track whilst B&B International brings it back down to the original tempo with a nice dub feel. Enjoy!'
