East London chanteuse and songwriter Neech lets inspiration blow from all directions. Having grown up with the sounds of reggae, hi-life and soul divas at home and heavily influenced by the indie rock scene of her peers and a personal love for hip hop, Neech combines this with an abstract blend of blues and electronica to create her own style, revealing a conscious and insightful ability to weave life's tragic beauty and love-gone-sour, gently brimming with inner strength.
Working with a number of producers, including Euphonic's Rob Henry (with whom she toured Europe extensively with as a guest vocalist for Euphonic), tracks on her debut album, "Thinkin' Bout You" range from the bouncy dub tinged 'MerryGoRound' and sultry jazz vibes of 'Who Is The What?' to the fuzzed-up warped forces that drive the title track. Support has come from various DJ's including Excalibah (Pyro) and DJ Noorah (Itch FM). Besides their stations she's received airplay on Surge FM, various UK student stations and international radio showcase, The Selector, produced by "Somethin' Else".
