Canadian label NICE+SMOOTH continues building it's legacy of top-notch releases with this hot collection of new, exclusive and rare tracks from its growing roster of world-class dj's and artists. Drawing on the theme of 'Breezy Beats and Sunny Breaks ', the mixed-cd features a wide variety of lush, deep and summery tunes. Pure stylin? tracks are the order of the day; Features the worldwide smash-hit 'Cherish' produced and sung by Roy Davis Jr. (from last years critically acclaimed 'Water For Thirsty Children ' album). The much sought after Directions remix of Kinder Atom's 'Ladies' is also included, a sweet Naked/OM-esque slice feat. vocalist Genvieve Marchessau, originally on 12' only. A brand-new pop-house single entitled 'No Turning Back' by DJ Shine & Teknsotep, featuring Perfecto recording artist and chanteuse extraordinaire Jenna Andersen. Toronto's Suzana Da Camara makes her debut recording for the label with the exquisite nu-jazz flavours of 'Meu Amour', produced by Jack Richardson and remixed by Mike Dell. New signings to the label are well represented here, with fresh tracks from many artists who will be releasing full-length cd's on NICE+SMOOTH in 2005 including: Jordan Fields - The Chicago house and downtempo icon previously signed to Mo'Wax (new album entitled '2084' due late summer). Sol Azul: Toronto's live breakbeat bossa sensation featuring vocalist Rubi (self titled debut cd out in June w/ a double 12' of remixes from Visionary). Mossyrock: Philly-based psychedelic organic house & breaks crew (debut album due in mid- summer 'The Zero to One Sessions ').'
