PaixÃ£o (pronounced 'Pie-SHAO') = Passion The lead track from the recently issued SOL AZUL self-titled CD, this one kicks you right in the pants, repetitively, and doesn't stop until you start moving. Two distinct mixes here, both geared specifically for the dance floor. The original mix is a huge, sexy broken-beat bossa number, with a vocal scat and hook that absolutely will not let go of your ear. The B-side remix brings uptempo 4-on-tha-floor beats with a hard and techy shuffle, courtesy of nice+smooth resident star producer Jason 'DJ Shine' Spanu.'
